Path to Perfect Dentures

  1. APPOINTMENT
At Nind St Denture Clinic on the Gold Coast, we customise every denture for each patient. To successfully create the dentures it is necessary to have 3 - 4 appointments depending on the type of denture, mostly completed within 10 - 14 days. All visits will normally be 30 minutes, in certain cases we may need 1 hour but we will always let you know upfront.

  2. GETTING STARTED
The initial appointment will be a no-obligation consultation where Michael or Ray will have a friendly chat to discuss your needs. Feel free to come in and ask any questions or concerns.
You do not need a referral from a dentist for a set of dentures, although you will need to visit the dentist for any necessary extractions.

  3. WHAT NEXT
If you decide to go ahead and have a denture made by us, we will take a confidential medical and dental history from you.
We will then assess your denture needs and start the first steps toward planning and designing your new denture.
As you are very much involved in this, we encourage you to ask as many questions as you wish. First impressions will be taken at this stage.

  4. APPEARANCE
Before any of our dentures are finished, we have to be certain that you are happy with them. Our focus is on comfort, fit and function but also appearance is of the utmost importance.
A 'wax' model of your denture will be made for you to try in. At this stage, the teeth can be moved around and made to look more natural. Once you are happy with the look of the teeth, only then will they be completed.

  5. PAYMENT
We require a 30% deposit before starting treatment in which, if you prefer, your health fund rebate may be used as the deposit. We accept Visa, Mastercard and all major health fund cards with on the spot health fund claims through Hicaps. We are also a Veterans Affair Provider and Medicare rebates apply for chronically ill (contact us for details).

  6. CARING FOR YOUR DENTURES
After your dentures have been fitted, you will be given advice of how to look after them properly. Some fine tuning is quite normal and included in the after care service.
